   Mike Dailey
   Vice President of Research & Design

Mike Dailey joined Pioneer in 2008, bringing over twenty years of market research and consulting experience in both supplier and corporate settings. His sector experience includes telecommunications, media, healthcare, manufacturing, food, beverage and retail. Mike spent three years with TNS as an Account Executive for major food and beverage clients, developing and rolling out a global shopping segmentation platform for a Fortune 100 beverage company.  He also served as a Trend Consultant with the TNS Global Innovation Center, organizing an initiative to map out likely futures of the market information business. For ten years, he managed market research and new product development for BellSouth, creating new methodologies for combining lead consumer insights with prototyping and field trials to drive the product development process. As an independent consultant, he developed major customer loyalty programs for Global 50 clients that integrated tracking with strategic feedback and quick-response crisis management.

Mike has a BA in psychology and has completed all coursework toward his PhD in sociology. He also has a MS in Studies of the Future, a cross-disciplinary area focusing on trend analysis, scenario development, and strategic planning. He is an expert in systematically discovering insight in complex marketing systems, especially involving changing patterns of consumer motivations, perceptions, and behaviors toward brands.


   Michael Hood, Ph.D.
   Director of Quantitative Methods

Dr. Hood is a sociologist whose background includes many years of experience conducting survey research in both academic and corporate environments.   He specializes in questionnaire design,  statistical analysis, and educational sector survey research.  His experience includes web survey design and programming, target market modeling, and all aspects of conducting survey research. 

   Chuck Montgomery, Ph.D.
   Director of Research

Dr. Montgomery specializes in destination marketing and tourism research.  He has worked extensively with such places as the Branson (MO) Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, Chattanooga (TN), Stone Mountain Park (GA), and Silver Dollar City.  His expertise includes visitor satisfaction, visitation profiles, market segmentation, economic impact, and advertising awareness and tracking.  In addition to this, he brings to Pioneer expertise in the healthcare industry, radio and television broadcasting, public opinion and political polling, mass communication, and small group communication.

  
Mike Hardin
   Senior Research Consultant

Mr. Hardin, formerly Vice President of Research Services for Pioneer for seven years, currently serves as Senior Research Consultant.  Previously, he was Vice President, Customer Evaluations for Equifax, Inc., and was responsible for all customer research in the company's 28 operating divisions.  Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Elrick & Lavidge, Inc.  He has a wealth of experience in both quantitative and qualitative research.  Particularly, he provides our team with expertise in customer satisfaction studies, awareness and use studies, pricing studies, segmentation methodologies, advertising and appeal measures, competitive image measurement, and menu concept and promotional campaign evaluations.  In particular, he has many years of experience applying conjoint analysis and advanced multivariate procedures to market research.
