Healthcare

Issues
Healthcare is a controversial topic that affects the general population, governments, researchers, delivery organizations, and healthcare professionals.  The issues of major importance facing healthcare today, in addition to the typical concerns for life-threatening illnesses, are the epidemic growth of asthma and diabetes.

Pioneer has conducted several studies to examine these growing problems.  Our research ranges from practices to identify and diagnose illnesses, and processes used to seek treatment, prescribe medications, dosage control and effectiveness.

For delivery organizations and healthcare professionals, the impact of managed care plans, escalating insurance costs, threatened government intervention, and the continued erosion of experienced staff are exacerbating an already difficult situation and changing the way healthcare services are provided.

Pioneer examines the management and processes that influence decisions to purchase new equipment, to provide new services, and to maintain practices that provide for critical and elective patient care.  Our clients include equipment manufacturers, delivery organizations, pharmaceutical companies and healthcare staffing providers.
